Private Yoga & Group Yoga Classes

Yoga is a series of practices that steadily increases your flexibility, strength, and self-control while cultivating relaxation and inner harmony. Awareness and the focus on breathing differentiate some yoga stretches from similar looking exercises you might get in conventional Physical Therapy.

Group yoga classes

Offering classes at Pulse Kettlebells & Yoga next door to our office in Middleton, WI for $10/class:

  • Flow Yoga, Mondays 9:15-10:15AM

With breath-guided movements, we will move through sequences to help mobilize muscles and joints and strengthen/ balance opposing muscle groups.  Inspired by the teachings of Shiva Rea’s Prana Flow training, this is an alignment-based, free form expression of the asanas that will make you feel loose and open.

  • Aroma Restore/Yoga Nidra Event, Wednesday April 19, 5:45-7:00PM

This relaxing, meditative class focuses on breathing through your body in “3 pulse waves” before settling into long-held poses. Relaxing and stress reducing oils may be used to massage in areas of the neck. Optional hands on assists will bring you deeper into letting go. Also inspired by Shiva’s lunar, soma trainings. Followed by a short guided body awareness and visualization.

  • Yoga for Cyclists Workshop, Sunday April 23, 3:00-4:15PM

In this workshop, we will cover the typical body aches, weaknesses and immobility cyclists encounter and how yoga asanas can help resolve these issues. You will learn some sequences to do pre-ride and post-ride to open up and balance muscle groups. Breath-guided movements assist awareness in opening and releasing tight areas.
